For companies that own data

Your data has buyers. We introduce you

Tell us about the data your company owns, and we introduce you to AI labs and other potential buyers it may fit. From there, you deal with them directly.

DLC is a referral company only. We make introductions — we don’t handle, negotiate or take part in any data transaction.

How it works

From your data to the right introduction

You tell us what you have. We look for potential buyers it may fit and introduce you. Everything after the introduction is between you and them.

  1. Tell us about your data. Describe it at a high level: what it is, roughly how much, and how it was collected. No files and no actual data are needed.
  2. We look for a fit. Based on your description, we look for AI labs and other potential buyers whose interests may match.
  3. We make the introduction. We introduce you to a potential buyer only once you tell us you want to talk.
  4. You deal directly. Any discussions, diligence, negotiation and agreement happen directly between you and the buyer. DLC is not involved.
  5. You stay responsible. You and the buyer are each responsible for your own rights, compliance and legal advice, and for any data you choose to exchange.

Our role

We make the introduction. The deal is yours.

DLC is a referral company, not a data broker. We don’t handle transactions, and we never touch the data.

  • What we do

We learn, at a high level, what kind of data you own and introduce you to potential buyers who may be interested.

  • What we don’t do

We don’t negotiate, structure, process or close deals, and we don’t advise on terms, rights or compliance.

  • We never touch the data

We don’t own, access, verify, store, sell or transfer any data. Any data moves only between you and the buyer.

  • Not a party to any deal

We don’t hold or process funds, and we’re not a party to any agreement between you and a buyer.

Introductions to buyers are made under a separate written referral agreement between DLC and the buyer.

Trust & privacy

Clear roles. Your data stays with you.

Because we only make introductions, it’s worth being clear about who is responsible for what:

We never see your data

We only need a high-level description. Please don’t send us actual data, samples or confidential files. We don’t receive, store or transfer datasets.

You confirm your own rights

Whether you can license or share your data, and on what terms, is for you to decide with your own advisers. DLC does not verify ownership, rights or consents.

Compliance is the parties’ responsibility

Privacy, consent, intellectual property and AI-related obligations are the sole responsibility of the buyer and the seller in any transaction.

Introductions only when you agree

We share your company’s details with a potential buyer only to make an introduction you’ve agreed to.

Do your own diligence

DLC makes no representations about any buyer or seller. Each party should evaluate the other and get its own legal, tax and technical advice.

Your inquiry, handled carefully

What you send through this site is used to respond to you and make introductions, as described in our Privacy Notice.

FAQ

Common questions

What does DLC do?

DLC is a referral company for companies that own data. We introduce data owners to AI labs and other potential buyers. That’s all we do: we don’t handle, negotiate or take part in any data transaction.

Is DLC a data broker?

No. We don’t buy, sell, hold, license or transfer data, we don’t handle transactions or funds, and we’re not a party to any deal. We make introductions.

Does DLC ever access our data?

No. We don’t own, access, verify, store, sell or transfer any customer datasets. A high-level description is all we ask for, and any data you choose to share goes directly between you and the buyer.

Who negotiates the deal?

You and the buyer, directly. Any terms, pricing, rights and agreements are entirely between the two of you. We recommend you each get your own legal advice.

Who is responsible for legal and privacy compliance?

Buyers and sellers are solely responsible for their data transactions and for their own legal and regulatory compliance, including privacy, consent and intellectual property.

What kinds of data might interest buyers?

Many kinds of business data may be of interest to AI labs and other buyers. Tell us what you have and we will tell you honestly whether we know of potential buyers who may be interested.

Is there a commitment when we submit an inquiry?

No. An inquiry is the start of a conversation. The information you share is used to respond to you and, if you agree, to make introductions.
